Thought provoking piece Lanu. I have seen a relative so terminally ill with cancer and in pain with no return to better health. For 6 months he waited for the death day and asked for the assistance to die to stop the pain. His wife didn’t have the courage to assist him with his death request.
Now the table turn and she is the sick one. She prays everyday to die.

When people are ill and in pain and feel like a burden they loose the will to live.
I would hope if that is my wish it would be granted.
