This is so emotional. There are so many like you, who feel hurt by similar circumstance.

Emotionally I buried my mother at 14. That was the day I told her my father had been sexually abusing me for years. In spite of graphic descriptions of what he had done her response was “Your father didn’t really do anything. He just wanted to be close to you.” No actually he did quite a lot but she was in denial.
