Maybe it is.

Yesterday I accidentally killed an ant by stepping on it. I felt bad for killing it. Am I behaving stupidly, regretting the death of an insect? Is ant’s life worthy of mourning?

Maybe it is. An ant wants to live like anyone else. I personally dont think too much or feel guilty about killing an ant though.
