Carmellita, you would be surprised to know some writers/ Readers on Medium are still not aware they can give 50 claps per story. When I just started I thoiught I was assigned to 50 claps per day. I would stop reading when my claps ran out because I felt it would have been an injustice to read and not clap. I would learned from reading an article that it wasn't so.

I am encouraged to read a story that have lots of claps. Its a curosity thing. But in all fairness, claps are a big encouragement to boost a writer's spirit. So give 50 claps when you read. Make a writer's day by being kind .
